ALL's WELL that ends WELL

My lawyer friend Nikki once told me "it will all work out in the end""and if things are'nt working out, it just means that IT IS NOT THE END!!" Powerful words right? I know what you thinking, how could a lawyer come up with such TRUTHFUL words?? Hahaha, she should've been a preacher right? Hahah! Well let's just say she is a little of both.Todays entry is about friendship, family, and reality checks!
Friends won't let friends drive drunk!, friends won't let friends wear anything that looks like it should fit a child. A friend will always have your back, your front, and your side in any and every single situation. These are some phrases you may have heard in regards to friendship and all of these are true!!
When some ppl invision friendship, they yearn for that "sex in the city" type of foursome that seems to have it all! We see them at the club or at sunday brunch, looking stylish and sophisticated guzzling down mimosas magaritas and mojitos! We look at them and yearn for what they have, thinking Darn, I want me some friends like those! But if you think that those actresses depict a true picture of friendship, you my friend are sadly mistaken!
I have come to the realization that some friends, while they may not socialise with you at brunch or the 40/40 club, when you need them the most they are always there! You may not have any pictures of them on your facebook page, they may not be on your daily call list, but when you need someone to lean on they are always there! You see, real friends are'nt always fun! Real friends tell you the truth and the truth sometimes sucks!
You ever had an experience when something absolutely terrible has happened and you desperately need someone to talk to? Do you find yourself going through your phonebook and blackberry messenger list, using process of elimination, according to level of maturity and experience in the given subject? You realise some of the people you talk to on a daily basis cannot possibly comprehend your situation and will be of no help whatsoever? Lol! That moment is your epiphany, the person you call at that moment is your true friend! The person who may not be your first choice on a shopping trip or on a road trip to atlantic city, has become your first choice when you are inflicted with a broken heart!
Today I needed a friend, I got into it big time with my parental units and needed someone to be by my side! I needed someone to hold me while I crumbled into pieces, I needed someone to wipe my tears and hold my hand! Yesterday I was so upset about being fired and demoted, thinking I was so betrayed, but today I thank God for that and I thank God for him! I needed to slow my role, I wasn't ready for that big step! Have you ever played "sorority life" or "mafia wars" on the fbook? Have ever tried to do jobs at the capo level without first completing the entire hitman or enforcer teir. Do you realise it is impossible to complete all your jobs with out first collecting loot from the stage before to use as leverage in your jobs now!
What I am saying is that, I virtuousnumber9, hadn't yet finished the enforcer stage, but I was in such a rush to start the hitman phase, I overlooked a few things! I had all the jobs completed till the last two, it kept saying," loot needed from enforcer stage to complete this job" I didn't have all the tools I thought I needed in order to accept the responsibility of partner, apparently I still had to complete jobs at the girlfriend stage! I still needed to collect loots of trust, hope, confidence, joy,and security! I am so happy I realised this now before I entered into a partnership and realised that I really wasn't complete! That would've been a recipe for disaster!
Today, the same employer that demoted me, lifted me up, yesterday he fired me, today he inspired me!you see I was so angry at him for what he did, that I didn't realise that all along, he was just trying to be a true friend. I love you D! The end!
